Everything brands ask us before switching 3PL

The master FAQ for 2Flow. How our Dublin operation actually runs, what we integrate with, how shipping and returns work in practice, and what compliance, retail and subscription customers typically want to know before moving their fulfilment.

About 2Flow

Who we are, where we operate from, and the kinds of brands we work with.

Who is 2Flow and what does the company do?
2Flow is Ireland's specialist eCommerce fulfilment partner, based in Dublin. We pick, pack, kit, label, refurbish and deliver for ambitious consumer, retail and workplace brands across Ireland, the UK and the EU.
Where is 2Flow based?
Our main warehouse and head office are in Dublin. Everything runs from that single operation: inbound stock, pick and pack, kitting, returns, compliance and dispatch.
What size of brand does 2Flow work with?
We typically onboard brands shipping from around 500 orders or pallets a month upwards, through to brands moving 10,000+ orders a month or running multi-site replenishment programmes. The same operation scales with you without a 3PL swap.
What kinds of brands do you specialise in?
DTC and Shopify brands, health and supplement brands, beauty and personal care, home and lifestyle, consumer electronics, office and workplace supply, and brands supplying Irish and UK retailers. We also support non-Irish brands using Ireland as an EU fulfilment base.
Is 2Flow a large 3PL?
We're a specialist operator, not a generalist giant. You get enterprise-grade systems and carriers behind you, without the account-managed bureaucracy of a top-four 3PL.

Onboarding & Quotes

How a brand typically goes from first call to live dispatch.

How do I get a quote from 2Flow?
Book a call from our Contact page. Share your SKU count, monthly order volumes, average order size, channels you sell through and any special requirements. A tailored quote usually comes back inside a week.
What is included in a 2Flow quote?
Storage, goods-in, pick and pack, packaging, carrier rates, returns handling and the client portal are all itemised. Pricing is transparent and presented as a single rate card, not a pile of hidden surcharges.
How long does onboarding take?
Most brands are live within two to four weeks of accepting a quote. Timelines depend on integration complexity, SKU count and how retail-ready your packaging already is.
Can I visit the warehouse before signing?
Yes, and we encourage it. Seeing the operation, meeting the team on the floor and walking the process gives you more than any slide deck.
Who will I deal with day to day?
You get a named client lead and a direct line into the operations team. The same faces stay on your account; you're not rotated through a call centre.

Platforms & Integrations

The systems we plug into and what "native" actually means in practice.

Does 2Flow integrate with Shopify?
Yes, natively. Shopify orders appear in our system instantly of checkout, tracking pushes back automatically, and inventory syncs in real time. No CSVs, no manual imports.
What is the typical Shopify order sync time?
Instantly, from order placement to appearing in the pick queue. Tracking numbers and dispatch confirmations flow back to the customer automatically.
Which other eCommerce platforms are supported?
WooCommerce, Etsy, Amazon (FBA and FBM), TikTok Shop and most major marketplaces. Multi-channel brands can run their entire order flow through one stock pool.
Does 2Flow work with ReCharge for subscriptions?
Yes. ReCharge billing cycles, renewal orders and failed-payment recoveries all flow through. Failed payments that are later recovered are picked up and dispatched automatically.
Do you connect to procurement platforms like Coupa, SAP Ariba or Jaggaer?
Yes, for workplace-channel brands. Catalogue sync, PO intake, dispatch confirmation and invoicing are handled so buyers stay inside their procurement system. See Office & Business.
Can 2Flow build a custom integration?
Yes, where a standard connector doesn't exist. Custom builds typically take two to six weeks and sit alongside your standard platform connectors.
Does the platform give real-time inventory visibility?
Yes. The client portal shows live stock levels, the order queue, dispatch history, returns status and low-stock alerts. You see the same numbers we see.

Pick, Pack & Dispatch

Cut-offs, accuracy, carrier choice and how orders actually leave the warehouse.

What is the same-day dispatch cut-off?
Orders received before 1pm are dispatched the same day as standard. For same-day delivery inside Dublin city and county via Cyclone Couriers, the cut-off is noon.
How accurate is pick and pack at 2Flow?
Pick accuracy runs consistently above 99.9%. Every order is scan-validated before it leaves the site, and exceptions are investigated rather than absorbed.
Which carriers does 2Flow use?
DPD Ireland and An Post for standard domestic and international parcels. Cyclone Couriers for Dublin same-day. Pallet and groupage partners for retail and B2B distribution.
Can I offer multiple shipping options at checkout?
Yes. Standard, express, same-day Dublin and international services can all be surfaced at checkout and routed automatically to the right carrier in the warehouse.
Do you ship to parcel lockers and pickup points?
Yes. DPD Pickup, An Post Post Points and equivalent locker networks are supported where the carrier offers them.

Delivery & Coverage

Where we ship, how long it takes, and how post-Brexit paperwork is handled.

Does 2Flow deliver across all of Ireland?
Yes. Next-day coverage to every Eircode in the Republic via DPD and An Post as standard, with same-day delivery available across Dublin city and county.
Do you deliver to Northern Ireland?
Yes. Northern Ireland is served on next-day and two-day services with the appropriate post-Brexit documentation handled on your behalf.
Do you ship to the UK mainland?
Yes. We manage UK mainland delivery end to end, including customs clearance, commercial invoicing and the paperwork needed for VAT and duty.
What is the typical delivery time to EU destinations?
Two to four working days to most Western European destinations from dispatch, five to seven for further afield. Customs and VAT handling are included.
Who is the importer of record for UK and EU shipments?
This depends on your Incoterms and how you sell. We help configure the right model (DDP or DAP) so duties and VAT are charged once, at the right step.

Dublin Same-Day

How the premium Dublin service runs, what's included, and when to use it.

What is the same-day Dublin service and how does it differ from next-day?
Same-day Dublin is a premium service run with Cyclone Couriers: order before noon, delivered the same afternoon inside Dublin city and county. Next-day Ireland runs on DPD for the rest of the country.
Is there a minimum order volume for same-day Dublin?
No minimum. Single parcels and larger runs are handled on the same service.
Can 2Flow do temperature-controlled same-day delivery in Dublin?
Yes, for chilled and cold-chain goods within Dublin. Temperature is maintained from our warehouse through to the customer doorstep.

Subscriptions & Kitting

How monthly subscription programmes are built, billed and dispatched without renewal-day chaos.

Does 2Flow handle subscription box fulfilment?
Yes. We run monthly subscription programmes for Irish brands including pre-kitting, on-demand kitting, renewal-day surge handling and personalisation. See Subscription Brands.
What is the difference between pre-kitting and on-demand kitting?
Pre-kitting assembles boxes in batches ahead of billing day to absorb the renewal spike. On-demand kitting builds each box at pick time and suits personalised or variable subscriptions.
How does 2Flow absorb subscription renewal-day surges?
We forecast against your renewal calendar, pre-kit where appropriate, and flex picker capacity on renewal day so backlog doesn't form.
What is the minimum quantity for a kitting run?
We've run kitting programmes from a few hundred units up to tens of thousands. There isn't a fixed minimum, but we'll advise the most cost-effective format for your volume.
Can you de-kit bundles back into component stock?
Yes. Disassembly is part of the kitting service, so unsold bundles don't become dead inventory.

Retail & B2B Distribution

Retailer-compliant labelling, EDI, ASN, booking slots and running DTC alongside retail.

Which Irish and UK retailers do you supply?
All major Irish and UK grocery, pharmacy, health and beauty and general retailers. We manage retailer-specific labels, portals and paperwork as a standard service.
Does 2Flow support EDI and ASN?
Yes. Orders come in over EDI, ASNs are generated and validated against each shipment, and messages go out inside the retailer's lead-time window.
Can you run B2B and DTC from the same stock?
Yes. One SKU can ship as a single DTC parcel in the morning and leave on a pallet to a retailer DC in the afternoon, with one live stock count across both.
How does 2Flow help reduce retailer chargebacks?
SSCC and GS1 labelling, validated ASNs, slot-managed dispatch and a pre-dispatch compliance check on every shipment. Errors get stopped at the gate, not at the retailer DC.
What picking formats are supported?
Eaches, inner cases, outer cases, layers and full or mixed pallets. Shelf-ready and store-ready preparation where retailers require it.
Can 2Flow manage retailer booking slots?
Yes. We run the retailer DC portals on your behalf, book the slot, align the pick window and hand off to the carrier.

Office & Workplace

Fulfilment for buyers who live inside procurement platforms, not checkouts.

Which workplace procurement platforms are supported?
Coupa, SAP Ariba, Jaggaer and equivalents. Catalogue sync, punch-out and PO-to-invoice flows are handled end to end.
Can 2Flow run multi-site scheduled replenishment?
Yes. Weekly, fortnightly or monthly drops across dozens of sites per account, with consolidated reporting and site-level tracking.
Do you produce commercial paperwork for B2B orders?
Yes. Commercial invoices, delivery dockets, packing lists and PO references are generated on dispatch so your customer's finance team can reconcile quickly.

Compliance & Regulated Goods

Batch tracking, cold-chain, HPRA documentation and Amazon FBA prep handled as standard.

Which regulated products can 2Flow handle?
Food supplements, vitamins, natural-health, medical devices, cosmetics, skincare and other products with compliance requirements. Batch, lot and expiry data is tracked end to end.
Do you track batch and lot numbers?
Yes. Every regulated unit is received against its batch, lot and expiry, picked in strict FIFO order and traceable through to the end customer.
Can 2Flow handle cold-chain and temperature-controlled goods?
Yes. Temperature-controlled inbound receipt, dedicated chilled storage, validated cold-chain packaging for dispatch and chilled same-day Dublin are all supported.
Can you support HPRA documentation for medical products?
Yes. Our team is experienced in HPRA requirements and maintains the documentation, training records and process controls required for regulated medical products in Ireland and the EU.
Can you prepare shipments to Amazon FBA standards?
Yes. FNSKU labelling, poly-bagging, suffocation warnings, carton configuration, bundling and carrier-compliant inbound shipping are all part of our FBA prep service.

Returns & Refurbishment

Getting saleable stock back on the shelf fast, and dealing properly with what isn't.

How does 2Flow handle DTC returns?
Returns are received, inspected, graded and restocked, with status visible in the client portal in real time. Saleable stock goes back live, non-saleable follows your defined disposition rules.
How quickly are returns processed?
Standard returns are processed within 48 hours of arrival at the warehouse. Higher-priority returns (e.g. grade-A restock for launches) can be expedited.
Can returned products be refurbished?
Yes. Inspection, repair, re-pack and re-label are run in-house so stock comes back as saleable rather than written off.
Do you handle returns from EU and UK customers?
Yes. International returns flow back through local country return addresses where required, then consolidate to Dublin for processing.

Launches, Peaks & Live Commerce

How we absorb launch-day and live-stream spikes without the queue building up.

Can 2Flow handle a product or brand launch?
Yes. Launch-specific packaging, PR boxes, influencer drops and launch-day surge capacity are designed in before launch day, not reacted to on the day. See Brand / Product Launch.
What happens if launch-day demand exceeds forecast?
Capacity is pre-flexed around your launch window so we can absorb a spike without queue build-up. Post-peak, the operation returns to steady-state without a capacity penalty to you.
Does 2Flow support TikTok Shop and live commerce?
Yes. TikTok Shop is a supported channel, with branded packaging, rapid dispatch on live-stream spikes and returns handling built into the flow.
Can you handle peaks like Black Friday?
Yes. Peak planning starts weeks before. Picker capacity, packaging stock, carrier lanes and portal monitoring all scale up through the peak window.

Personalisation & Packaging

Where fulfilment stops being operational and starts being part of the brand.

What personalisation services does 2Flow offer?
Gift messaging, engraving (including laser), hand-finishing, custom inserts, branded gift wrap and bespoke packaging formats.
Can packaging instructions vary by SKU?
Yes. Per-SKU pack rules, per-channel pack rules and per-order pack rules can all coexist. Pickers and packers work from the rules, not from memory.
Can branding evolve as the brand grows?
Yes. New packaging rolls in without a re-onboarding exercise; we phase old packaging out as it's used.

Portal, Reporting & Support

What you see in the client portal and who to call when something matters.

What does the 2Flow client portal show me?
Live inventory, order queue, dispatch history, returns, low-stock alerts and reporting by SKU, channel, account and PO. No more emailing your 3PL for a stock count.
How responsive is the 2Flow team?
Most client queries get a reply inside business-day hours, often within the hour. Urgent operational issues go straight to a named contact on your account.
What makes 2Flow different from other Irish 3PLs?
We're specialist rather than generalist, Irish owned and Dublin based, with the systems and retailer relationships of a larger operator and the client access of a smaller one.
